The design on this 5 piece pentagonal fly rod emerged as a solid medium action, with nice casting power. This is the second, third and fourth of seven rods in the Five Squared Alpine Series of which the first will not be sold as it was the test for where the dimensions needed to be altered.

Currently in production is an extra tip for each of these five piece rods. What I mean by tip is exactly that. The top tip section only. I refer to this section as No. 1

This rod is the second in a series of 7. Maybe 7. We shall see. It is also my 12th rod built in the shop. The # indicates what number rod has been built of that particular type. The No. indicates how many rods had been constructed, regardless of type.
